Own artwork & prints
Although in illustration it is customary to have one or two specialist styles, I work in a diverse range of mediums – but in particular I love colour and pattern, so these are common themes throughout my work. At the moment I’m creating a lot of pen and ink work, which I develop digitally – including patterns, stationery, posters, greetings cards and more. I’m also working on a tarot deck and am indulging my love of the zodiac through some new prints! I love collage and have am investigating lino printing (a skill in progress!)…
For client projects, my work is versatile to suit individual briefs, exploring possibilites creatively to ensure results are fresh and engaging. I maintain a strong focus on traditional drawing skills (I’m trained in these) and careful composition using both hand and digital techniques. My illustrations have been adapted to many formats – from packaging, wedding stationery, logos and branding, magazines… and infographics, to name but a few!
I’m presently working with some top notch brands to create product ranges and bring colourful joy to the world! Watch this space and please contact me if you are interested in collaborating!
I’ve removed my portfolio while I update it but you can see samples of my work on my instagram page.
“Lila was an absolute pleasure to work with and truly over-delivered in the tight timescales.
She is an extremely creative and talented designer, and is not afraid to take on new challenges.”
Dermot Sugrue, Sugrue South Downs
“The designs Lila produced turned out way beyond our initial hopes and expectations.
All through the process she was very easy to work with, listening to our feedback and adding her own experienced voice. The outcome speaks for itself and we cannot recommend her highly enough”
Doug Hill & Andy Harvey
